Zanesville Concert Association presents Rastrelli Cello Quartet on April 11, 2010

Location: Auditorium Time: 3:00 PM

The Rastrelli Cello Quartet is out to prove that is is possible to play any kind of music on the cello. This unique ensemble thrills audiences with its non-traditional programming, a mix of theatre and music. Quartet members, who hail from Russia and Belarus, share a mission to present music "between the genres." Their goal is "to make listeners hear the saxophone playing in "The Melody" by Sokolov, to make a ragtime-battered piano sound in a silent movie and to imporvise jazz music. Unique indeed!
