Country legends Joe Diffie, Sammy Kershaw, and Aaron Tippin will be coming to Secrest Auditorium on November 16th as part of the Roots and Boots Tour. The three country super stars will be performing on stage together for a unique country music experience. Together the three have 42 Top Ten singles, 16 Gold and Platinum Albums, and 14 Number One Songs.
The Roots & Boots Tour pits country legends Joe Diffee, Aaron Tippin and Sammy Kershaw live and together on one stage in an intimate concert setting. The trio will be on stage together performing all of their biggest hits, while telling the stories behind the songs. It’s truly a unique, intimate concert experience unlike any other.
Getting back to the roots of their music, Tippin, Diffie and Kershaw will offer acoustic versions of more than 40 Top Ten hits like Joe Diffie’s “John Deere Green,” “Pickup Man” and “Prop Me Up Beside the Jukebox”. Some of Aaron Tippin’s biggest hits include “Kiss This,” “Workin’ Man’s PHD,” “There Ain’t Nothin’ Wrong With The Radio,” and “Where the Stars & Stripes and Eagles Fly”. Sammy Kershaw’s hits like “She Don’t Know She’s Beautiful,” “National Working Women’s Holiday,” “Love of My Life,” “Vidalia,” “Queen of My Double Wide Trailer,” and “Cadillac Style.”
The Trio recently released their first album together titled “All In The Same Boat”. The album features new songs, covers of other artist, and some new twists on some of their most famous hits. The title track is a new song the trio recorded in response to all of the fun they were having on the Roots and Boots Tour.
Local group Carson Drive will be opening the show. The group has been performing locally for many years together. Carson Drive most recently is the closing act for the Jaycees Stars and Stripes on the River Event on July 4th at Zane’s Landing.
